The day to day management is led by the Principal with the support of the senior staff. The teaching staff have a range of expertise, interest and experience. The teachers work as a team sharing professional skills and knowledge. A philosophy of involving all members of our school in the decision-making process underpins the work of the school leadership team.
The philosophy is reflected in the work of the Student Council, in teachers' leadership in curriculum committees, in the partnership with the Board of Trustees, PTFA and Whanau Group and in the encouragement given to parents to participate in the life of the school.
The students at St Peter Chanel Catholic School enjoy facilities including attractive classrooms equipped with computers, ample play areas, adventure playground equipment, pool, skating area, astroturfed netball and basketball courts and a growing "wilderness" area.
