WATER POLO

Water polo is played in a deep pool where students cannot touch the bottom of the pool.
Who:
Water polo is for Yrs 7/8 (Yrs 3-6 play Splash polo - see info on main page).
Team has between 7 and 13 players.
Where & When:
Water polo is played during Terms 1 and 4.
Practice day and time are to be determined by coach.
Games are played on Sunday afternoons between 11am and 5pm at Waterworld, Te Rapa, or St Peter's School Cambridge if Waterworld is unavailable.
Team Requirements:
A parent coach/manager is required for each team.
An umpire is also required – the umpire cannot be the team coach/manager.
Uniform:
All gear is provided, students just need suitable swimwear.
Girls must have hair up in a swimming cap.
Cost:
From $95 per player (fundraising to lower player fees is an option)
This fee includes the club fee and all pool practice fees. Practices are at Waterworld which unfortunately makes this one of the higher-priced sports we offer.
Fees are indicative only and will likely change depending on updated association fees and player numbers.
